Conventions of Trailers

In this task I was asked too talk about the conventions of trailers. I have learnt a lot of different things from this task, I learnt all the main conventions that should be included in horror films for example voiceovers and showing your lead actor/actress. I will definetly be using some of these conventions in my trailer I create. In my trailer, I now want to add voiceovers into my trailer, as I feel that it adds to the atmosphere of the film

Structure of Trailers

In this task I was asked too, look at the structure of trailers. The structure in a trailer consists of Opening, Build Up, Problems and Events. I will certainly be following this structure as it gives you the outline of where to put what.
